Philosophy of Law in Times of Crisis

No doubt, we are undergoing difficult times or “times of crisis” and humanity suffers from it in multiple ways.  We believe that some of the problems inevitably arising in such times are to be situated within the context of law and we need to turn to the guidance of philosophy of law in order to discuss and find solutions to the hardships we are undergoing as humanity. As the IVR (Internationale Vereinigung für Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie or International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy) Turkey, we would like to extend an invitation to all interested to participate in our webinar on “Philosophy of Law in Times of Crisis” to share expertise and discuss the problems as well as possible solutions. The meetings will be held on-line via Zoom on the 8^th and 9^th of April, 2021.

Researchers and graduate students are welcome to present papers on any topic related to the theme of the webinar, “Philosophy of Law in Times of Crisis.”

The language of the webinar is English.

Submission Guidelines

Authors are required to send their abstracts (400 words max.) to ivr.turkeyy@gmail.com. Only one abstract by each author will be accepted for review. Presentations (20 minutes each) will be followed by 10 minutes’ discussion.

All accepted proposals will be posted on the webinar’s website prior to the event.

The deadline for paper abstract submissions is 5 March 2021.
